Transmission Operations Engineer II/III/Senior
Job Description:
• Transmission Operations Engineer supporting transmission system operations, engineering analysis, and long-range system planning.
• Supports technical decision-making and resolution of complex engineering and operational issues affecting system reliability.
Job Requirements:
• Perform engineering analyses, studies, evaluations, investigations, and technical reviews to support transmission operations.
• Conduct and interpret power flow studies to support operational and planning decisions.
• Develop solutions to technical engineering and system reliability issues.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure project objectives, schedules, and technical requirements are met.
• Prepare engineering reports, recommendations, cost estimates, and technical documentation.
• Provide technical guidance and support to less-experienced engineers as needed.
Required Experience (Non-Negotiable)
• Engineer II: Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited institution and a minimum of 2 years of engineering-related experience.
• Engineer III: Bachelor's degree in an approved engineering or applied science discipline and a minimum of 5 years of engineering-related experience.
• Senior Engineer: Bachelor's degree in an approved engineering or applied science discipline and a minimum of 8 years of engineering-related experience.
- Engineer III and Senior Engineer candidates must hold or be able to obtain NERC Reliability Coordinator certification within 6 months of hire
