Position Summary

We are seeking a mid- to senior-level IT Project Manager (5–10 years of experience) with an active PMP certification and a regulatory background for a hybrid role based out of Tonopah, AZ. This position is responsible for driving project lifecycle activities from initial planning through full closure, ensuring compliance, scope control, and effective stakeholder communication.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Execution & Leadership: Direct, coach, and motivate project team members and contractors. Coordinate vendor resources, resolve team conflicts, and provide performance input.
• Project Planning & Scope Control: Develop detailed project plans, resource allocations, cost estimates, and project architectures. Manage scope changes, evaluate their impact on schedule/budget, and revise work authorizations accordingly.
• Tracking & Communication: Monitor project progress against baseline plans, facilitate regular team meetings, publish minutes, and implement corrective actions for deviations.
• Work Requirements & Procurement: Direct work breakdown structures (WBS), cost estimation, and concept architecture. Initiate RFI, RFQ, or RFP processes as required.
• Project Closure: Lead project closure meetings, document lessons learned, finalize open contracts/purchase orders, archive documentation, and produce the final Project Closure Report.

Minimum Requirements

• Certification: Active Project Management Professional (PMP)® certification required.
• Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, Project Management, or a related field plus at least 5 years of progressively responsible project management experience (or an equivalent combination of education and experience).
• Experience Level: 5–10 years of experience managing IT projects (Mid to Senior level).
• Industry Focus: Demonstrated background working within regulatory or highly compliance-driven environments.
