Entry-Level Electrical Engineer
Location: Tonopah, AZ Area
Schedule: Full-Time | 40 Hours/Week
Employment Type: Long-Term Contract / Career Opportunity
We are seeking an Entry-Level Electrical Engineer to join our team supporting a major Power Plant in the Phoenix area. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent Electrical Engineering graduate looking to build a long-term career in the nuclear power industry.
The selected candidate will receive approximately two years of training and hands-on development while working alongside experienced engineering professionals. The ideal candidate is a quick learner, communicates well, and is comfortable working in a highly regulated technical environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support electrical engineering activities for a nuclear power facility.
- Assist with electrical testing, troubleshooting, analysis, and documentation.
- Work with experienced engineers and technical professionals to develop engineering skills.
- Review technical documents, drawings, calculations, and procedures.
- Participate in testing and verification activities.
- Learn nuclear industry standards, procedures, and engineering processes.
- Communicate effectively with engineers, technicians, project teams, and plant personnel.
- Follow established safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
Job Requirements:
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering is required
- Recent college graduate or early-career Electrical Engineer.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfortable with testing, troubleshooting, and technical problem-solving.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures.
- Quick learner with a willingness to develop new technical skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Must be local to the Phoenix, AZ area or willing to relocate at your own expense.
- Must be open to working at Power Plant and completing required site training and qualifications.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug test
- Must be a US Citizen
