About the Role

We are seeking an Electrical Procurement Engineer to support replacement part evaluations for existing plant equipment at a major nuclear power generating station in Tonopah, Arizona.

This role focuses on identifying, evaluating and approving replacement electrical components for obsolete and discontinued parts. This position works closely with existing plant equipment, vendor technical data and replacement parts evaluations to ensure plant requirements are met for fit, function and performance.

Position Details

• Schedule: Tuesday-Friday, typically 6am- 4:30pm
• Contract Length: 12months
• Location: Tonopah, Arizona
• Work Model: Onsite, open to Remote consideration based on experience

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate replacement electrical components for obsolete/discontinued plant equipment
• Review alternate parts for compatibility, fit, form, and function
• Work with vendors to identify equivalent replacement components
• Review technical drawings, specifications, and manufacturer documentation
• Support engineering evaluations and documentation for approved replacements
• Interface with engineering, maintenance, and supply chain teams

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related engineering discipline required
• Nuclear industry experience preferred
• Experience with component engineering, parts evaluations, commercial grade dedication
