Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a highly organized and experienced Project Coordinator to support and manage special project activities related to facilities construction. In this role, the Project Coordinator will collaborate closely with the Project Manager, assisting with planning, scheduling, cost control, and performance measurement, while also coordinating with other departments to ensure successful project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage, coordinate, and support construction projects from initiation through completion.
Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules to ensure timely achievement of project milestones.
Facilitate communication and coordination across departments to align project goals and deliverables.
Oversee procurement activities and vendor management to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
Monitor and track project budgets, costs, and contractor performance, addressing variances as necessary.

Job Requirements:

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, a technical field, or a related discipline; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Minimum of 3+ years of experience in facility-related construction project management or coordination.
Strong technical knowledge of construction systems, operational processes, production cost factors, and related project management functions (preferred).
Familiarity with accounting, budgeting, and enterprise project management systems.
Proficient in PC software applications, including spreadsheets, databases, and project management tools.
SWIMS software experience preferred.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
Effective interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across multiple teams and departments.

Construction experience preferred. Any project coordination, project support, or project management experience is a plus.
