IT Project Manager

We are looking for an IT Project Manager for a long term contract at a Power Plant in Tonopah, AZ.

This is a hybrid position - 2 days on-site/2 days remote

Holidays + PTO + Sick time + group insurance + work schedule 4-10's.

Must have 5-8 years of experience as an IT Project Manager

Coach, mentor, motivate and supervise project team members and contractors and provide performance assessment input as needed, coordinate vendor resources, identify and resolve issues and conflicts within project.

(2) Project Closure. Successful project closure. Facilitate project closure meeting, document lessons learned and prepare Project Closure Report, ensure closure of open contracts, purchase orders, and action items, archive project documentation, release project.

(3) Project Planning. Development of project plans to execute; including resource planning, project estimates, project organization, roles and responsibilities. Determine project lifecycle. In accordance with internal process methodologies, ensure project

(4) Project Scope Management. Control and manage impact of scope-creep throughout the project life cycle. Analyze impact of scope change requests on deliverables, cost, schedule, project resources, stakeholders, document as needed and revise WA as necessary.

(5) Project Tracking. Track and manage project progress to the project plan; Communicate project status with stakeholders, take corrective action for significant project deviations, facilitate regular project team meetings including meeting minutes.

(6) Work Requirements and Estimation. Organization and direction of the work requirements and estimation process, concept architecture and project scope. Preparation of work breakdown structure and estimates of all related costs. Initiate RFI, RFQ, or RFP

Must have a PMP Cert

Must have a Bachelors Degree or equivalent

Must be able to pass a background check and drug test

Must be local, PD is not available
