Service Coordinator

Position Overview:

We are seeking a  Service Coordinator  with strong customer service experience and a background in  construction, utilities, or related fields. The ideal candidate has experience meeting with customers on job or installation sites—such as in plumbing, roofing, or electrical service—and is comfortable communicating technical information clearly and professionally.

This position functions as a  liaison between APS and its customers, ensuring service requests such as meter installations, panel upgrades, and new power setups are completed accurately and efficiently. The Service Coordinator will coordinate customer communications, scheduling, and documentation while ensuring a seamless and positive service experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the main point of contact for customers regarding service-related requests.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to set up power services, upgrades, and installations.
  • Interface with residential customers (and occasionally commercial) to ensure service needs are met.
  • Review and route customer intake calls to assist Customer Project Representatives.
  • Track service schedules and follow up to ensure timely completion.
  • Maintain organized records, documentation, and communication logs.
  • Provide excellent customer service, ensuring customer satisfaction and professionalism at all times.


Job Requirements:

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma/GED and two (2) years experience.
  • Must successfully complete training program in four (4) to six (6) months.
  • Previous experience working directly with customers on job or installation sites (plumbing, roofing, construction, or utilities industry preferred).
  • Strong  customer service and communication  skills with a professional, customer-focused demeanor.
  • Highly  organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.
  • Basic  project coordination  skills (scheduling, time management, workload prioritization).
  • Basic understanding of how electricity is generated and delivered (from generation to meter) is a plus—training will be provided.
  • Proficient with standard office software and comfortable learning new systems.
