With minimal supervision, this position performs, directs or coordinates special project activities including planning, engineering and design construction, procurement, administration, cost/benefit and performance analysis. Plans, schedules, and communicates work with other departments as necessary. Provides necessary support functions to track costs/budgets, contractor performance, etc.BS degree in a technical field or Business Administration or an equivalent combination of related education and/or experience. Requires a minimum of 6 years experience in facility related construction project management. Must possess strong technical knowledge of job related systems, operating processes, performance and production cost factors, as well as company accounting/budgeting and computer systems. Must be familiar with PC software, spreadsheets and database applications. Must have strong analytical and problem solving skills, both oral and written communication skills, and human relations skills. This position may require access to and/or use of information subject to control under the Department of Energy’s Part 810 Regulations (10 CFR Part 810), the Export Administration Regulations (EAR) (15 CFR Parts 730 through 774), or the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) (22 CFR Chapter I, Subchapter M Part 120) (collectively, “U.S. Export Control Laws”).
