Senior Civil/Structural Project Modification Engineer. Plans and coordinates large-scale engineering projects and modifications, while acting as a technical specialist in the field of civil/structural engineering. Performs plant design changes, responsible for all aspects of work scope, including feasibility studies, purchase and design specification development, conceptual & detail design, configuration control, calculation development, test coordination, implementation field engineering, troubleshooting and problem resolution, and turnover activities. Monitors projects and reviews design and documentation of complex projects to ensure compliance with design specifications, schedules, and regulatory requirements. Interfaces with internal and external customers, outside agencies and regulatory authorities. Shall be capable of providing technical direction and technical analysis in the field of civil engineering including structural analysis, concrete design, backfill and excavation. Requires Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering plus eight (8) years engineering experience, or Professional Engineer designation plus eight (8) years engineering experience or 12 years equivalent combination of technical education and experience. Three (3) years experience shall be nuclear. Industry Standard Design Change Process qualification (IP-ENG-001) is required.
